Welcome to the home page of the Orchid Studio & Chinese Learning Center (OSCLC). The OSCLC is a non-religious and non-political organization located in Albany, California, dedicated to the teaching of the Chinese language and Chinese culture.

Our mission:  

 • To teach Chinese language and culture to all interested community kids from four years old to 5th grade.   

• To bring China closer to our kids and community through Language and Cultural Bridge .   

• To provide love, care, fun, and knowledge to every kid's learning in the program.   

• To introduce fun and fellowship to all the volunteers and parents dedicated to the program.

禤明: 我十岁,我是中文中心的第一个学生.我从什么也不会到可以写7-8百字的中文故事,又读了少年本西游记,水浒;现在,我已经可以帮爸爸妈妈的朋当翻译了,我喜欢这样,想把中文学得更好.

润岩:我八岁,来中文中心两年.我认了1000多个字,读了很多故事,也写作.我更喜欢中国历史,我的一个祖先叫林则徐,很了不起的.中文很有意思.顺便问一下,你知道秦始皇吗?我是知道的.

煜卉,幸林:我们去年来中心学习中文的时候,才认识70-100个字,现在我们认到600-800个字字,有点喜欢读书了,也爱看中文电视.

豆豆:我也读了很多中文故事,我最喜欢下棋,我被评上下棋最认真的人了.我还想知道中国人是怎么弄电的,我长大了要到中国做生意去我们每个中心的人都欢迎更多的小朋友来中心和我们一起学中文.
